Rajasthan’s history of electricity development dates back to 1949. The electricity was only available in certain towns back then. The problem was resolved in 1957 with the formation of the Rajasthan State Electricity Board. This is the regulatory authority for power distribution in Rajasthan.
About RSEB
RSEB is the full form of Rajasthan State Electricity Board. It was established on 1st. July 1957. It is responsible for the operation of all thermal power plants in the state, as well as the hydel stations.

Maintenance and maintenance of the electricity systemThis authority maintains all the electricity systems in the state as well as the different areas. The authority also runs all of the major thermal and gas power plants in Rajasthan.
